The grand opening of CiCi’s Pizza is Today, March 14th!
The new location is in Murrieta at Murrieta Hot Springs Rd. and Winchester Rd, in the Vons shopping center.

Sewer Line Repair in Lake Elsinore
For the next few days there will be Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District work crews repairing a sewer line at the intersection of Railroad Canyon Rd. and Canyon Hills Rd.
Please plan ahead in case of slowed traffic, and remember to obey posted work zone speed limits.

CiCi’s Pizza Grand Opening Date Has Been Changed
Last week, I wrote a post about the new CiCi’s Pizza that is opening in Murrieta, in the Vons shopping center on the corner of Winchester Rd. and Murrieta Hot Springs Rd. In it, I stated that the anticipated grand opening was for Feb. 28th but was subject to change. I also promised to follow up with the company and keep you posted about any changes.
So, as promised, I followed up with CiCi’s Pizza this week and learned that the grand opening date has been pushed back to March 7th. They again told me that this is the “anticipated” date and can still change.
I will continue to follow up with them and confirm that date. Please continue to check our site for more updates next week.

Toyota Dealer Hosting Car-Give-Away and Raising Money for High Schools
Toyota of Temecula Valley is celebrating their 20th anniversary! To celebrate and thank the community, they are sponsoring the Car-Give-Away Opportunity to raise money for all participating local high schools.
Here’s how it works: You visit their website and donate money (in $5 increments) to the high school of your choice. For every five dollars that you donate, you earn 1 opportunity to enter the Car-Give-Away! CiCi’s Pizza Opening Soon!
Have you seen the commercials for CiCi’s Pizza, featuring the endless buffet filled with pizza, pasta, salad and dessert at an unbelievable price? My husband and I have seen them many times, and heard our stomachs start growling. We even went online and tried to find the nearest location. We were bummed when we learned we would have to drive at least an hour to the closest one.
So you can imagine how excited we were when we discovered that they are opening one right here in Murrieta! The new location is going to be in the Vons shopping center at the corner of Murrieta Hot Springs Rd. and Winchester Rd.
I contacted the company and was told that the tentative opening is scheduled for Feb. 28. They told me that anticipated opening dates can sometimes change, so I will be checking back with them next week to confirm the grand opening date, and I will keep you posted!

Grace Mellman Library Preschool and Toddler Storytimes
The Grace Mellman Library, also known as Temecula County Center Library, is starting their new storytimes this week.
Preschool Storytimes are being held on Tuesdays from 10-10:30am and 11-11:30am. These are independent group activities designed for children ages 3-5 years. Space is limited to 25 children so arrive early!
Toddler Storytime is being held on Wednesdays from 10-10:30am. This is an “0n-the-lap” storytime designed for children ages 24-35 months with their parents. Space is limited to 20 toddlers so get there early!

Baby Sign Storytimes are being held on Tuesday mornings from 10-10:30am and 11-11:30am. These times are designed for children up to 23 months old and feature stories and sign language.
Preschool Storytimes are being held on Wednesday mornings from 10-10:30am and 11-11:30am. These times are independent group activities designed for children ages 3-5 years old. Space is limited and fills up quick so arrive early!
Toddler Storytimes are being held on Thursday mornings from 10-10:30am and 11-11:30am. These are “on-the-lap” stories perfect for children ages 24-35 months old and their parents. Space for these fill up quickly so arrive early to grab a spot!
